It's going to be a cold ride home. I'll bring up the truck in a couple days for Xmas. Supposed to be rain and snow. Brrrrr.

I use to find these at least two a month. This is the second in two years. We get to them too fast. B) This looks like a insurance job. Ignition not punched, stereo and speakers gone, battery gone, street bike tire prints leaving the scene. It was driven there. Soft sand so they dragged it out of there. It wasn't totaled but it will be by the time it's done. :pinch: If not interested, pass on by.

Heard the call about 11:45. It was recovered around noon. Didn't get the SOB though. Heard the recovery after I left my welder/machinists place. At least the guy gets his bike back.

This tweaker started asking me to please, please, please sell him my bike. I had my back to him in the store and turned around to find a skinny, agitated SPEED FREAK trying to make a deal with someone he doesn't know and look in the eye. He kept rambling with his kid standing next to him, I had to capture his eyes to tell him NO. I watched his face change as he read the look in my eyes. I said slowly, "IT'S NOT FOR SALE." I always have my helmet latched in the cart just for times like these. If I had heard what he said outside, I might have started pummeling him right then. They always telegraph what is in what's left of their minds. Last week one of my grips was 1/4 the way off. The rats are coming out of their holes. I'll be waiting for them.

Stopped in front of the Harley shop like I always do to light a cig and get ready for the cold ride on top of the hill. A guy stopped and asked what year my bike was. I told him then took off. The Harley was pulling out of the lot when I got underway. They finally caught up with me a while later. He gave me the thumbs up, stayed along for a few minutes then went on their way. I was doing 80 and they were pulling away from me. I'd catch up, they'd fall back, back and forth until I stopped to put on my heavy gloves. I finally put on my chaps at the I 15 /138. Snow on the hills as I went up the mountain. Brrrrr.

Close one with a deputy. He was sitting on the side street, flipped a bitch and almost pulled out in front of me. Two guys in the car, must have been a warrant service unit. I was already on the front brake, I could have stopped. I just nodded at them and went on my way.

Went for a ride Friday to see my new granddaughter and family. Weather good, in the 70/80's, bike's running good finally, nice ride. Coming home yesterday, I get on the FWY after taking a break, minding my own buisiness, acting like I'm not doing 75, the rest of the traffic's doing 80 or more, when this Hog rider catches up to me and passes in my lane. I saw him coming and moved over. He started behind me at the gas station and I nailed it on the on ramp, got up to speed and found my lane. Took him about two miles to catch up.

Why is that rude Steve? So he passed you, in your lane. I've done it also, doesn't make me a rude KZ rider. Don't git it...

I'm more respectful than that. I'll pass in the next lane rather than crowding his.

I agree with Steve. Not only is it rude and presumptuous, it's flat out dangerous.
Sure riding pairs is legal but that doesn't mean I need to accept any twerp riding next to me in the same lane.

Agreed. I try to stay away from the car/truck next to me. I'm always scanning my mirrors for Smoky or anything coming my way. If I hadn't seen him, I could have shifted in my lane and both of us could have gone down. This type of behavior isn't uncommon. There are a few HD riders that will "Diss" someone on another make no matter what it is. Just before this I had stopped to tighten my mirror. A lot of HD guys were sneering at me while I was there. I ignored them, finished what I was doing and went on my way.
