Nothing like standing between two fuelers when they leave -the ground does actually move. Greg Pollard is just about to flip the switch to go to high idle before Geoff lights the last stage bulb.

BTW, that's me standing beside Geoff's girl Bonnie, the blond with her back to the camera, who had never been up there before so I dragged her up to the line for the final round at Norwalk - she loved it. And we won the event....

Hell...I was probably within arms reach of you a few times that week-end. Why didn't you introduce yourself? :laugh:
That's what I love about nitro...when they leave the line, I swear by bones are vibrating. Cool stuff. I have a video of the final that I want to post as mentioned in previous post. Once someone tells me how, I'll put it up. You can see from what angle it was taken from the picture.

Racer 54 I would have introduced myself but didn't know you were there! I usually post up an invite to come by the Pollard's pit for the .05(cdn) tour but didn't for Norwalk. Going to Valdosta? We got a chance to grab #2 spot in TF points behind Larry and we're beating the bushes for $$ to fund the trip to Georgia.

No Valdosta for me. That was the first time I have ever gone to Norwalk. Nice track....crummy weather! I was only able to go there because I'm on a short lay-off at work, otherwise I probably wouldn't have gone to Norwalk. Go to Indy every year and this year went to Milan and Norwalk.

Norwalk is where I saw them too! But it was last year, couldn't make it this year. :(

This is what Mr. Plummen will look like when he finally(?) gets his turbo/nitrous bike done. Maybe different color leathers but he will probably need to learn to ride like this guy does.
