I am cuting out some seamless pipe, not too thick of wall, probably around 1/16th-1/8th. Doesn't need to be too thick anyway

but I am cutting out frame bracing per the yoshi kit for my Z1.

Depending on how much the tubing costs- I think I can offer them in the $25-$75 buck range, + shipping, which will go flat rate- 8.95$

You think there is enough interest here for me to go ahead make some for everyone that wants one?

NOt an offer yet- just seeing if there is enough interest to make a couple extra of these?

See pic for what I am talking about!

Anudder-= by the way- I will be using usual mild steel for easy welding- NOT chrome moly- so no heat treat neccesary!

Ya, I like your gusseting there in the "V" of the frame behind hte motor mount- can't make out most of the rest, except up at the spine, and it looks about the same as the Yosh.

I doubt it will be identicle to the Yosh kit anyway- unless you want some kind of period correct road racer.

I have been down on the foot pegs a couple times, scraping the rubber off them- if I go with a rear-set- I will scrape exhaust and the case at the stator,

I DEFINATELY want better rebound and damping- I am sorry- but with 10w in the forks, they still suck. I can feel the frame flex a bit, and the 130s I have on back bite pretty good, same with the 110s on front.

I am building another frame, or rather, I have drawn one up and will make it next winter- for my streetfighter project. I will use USD forks, maybe even Ohlins, on that one- depending how much do-re-mi that I have in my pocket! I have not been able to talk a customer into anything but chopper-soft-tail-hybird frames so far- and I really, really want to do a trellis frame- I have a good 3 bikes worth of Z stuff now, so it will only be the high end components that I need for suspension- like a Ohlin for the back.

But this bike- well, it needs a fork brace, it needs better damping and rebound, it needs a wider rear tire- I am building the swing arm from the same OD tubing as the stocker- only out of Chrome moly- and .125 at that- EXTREMELY strong- no flexy swing arm for me!

There will be no way for anyone but the most sophisticated Z1 person to spot that it is not a stock swing arm.

Cool, I will just pop out four or five of each thing I make- and offer them up on the board when I do it for myself. It won't be until late fall to mid winter though- right now, I ride like a banshee!

I a still going to be saving up me duckets to get me that 1000p set up,

I think I have scored some rear shocks, some good ones, I will know soon enough- I am looking for the Zrex ones!
