looks awesome fossil are you running into any snags cant wait to hear about your first ride you will be blown away by the improved handling. I would love to see your handy work in person you should ride it up to parry sound for the sportbike rally july 7th and 8th.

Tom and 77KZ650 thanks for the comments. Tom, yep, a coupla snags - one was finding out the fork lock won't work due the decreased offset of the triple clamps. The other is the front brakes drag, but it is a ZX9 wheel and GSXR forks so some adjustment, maybe shimming, or trimming will fix that.
Tom and Vipex, not so sure about the Sportbike Rally, I'm hoping to get to the CVMG rally at Paris in June.
And, ya, I like wrapped headers! Some of the guys here have been painting the pipes after wrapping to help seal them against moisture, keep the wrap looking new.

Fossil I had the same problem with my fork lock as well, I ended up adding a 3/16 spacer to each side to keep my bars from contacting anything a little trail and error to get it perfect but it worked out ok.TOM Fossil did you mean your ignition lock I was obviously thinking steering stops as far as ignition lock I had to for go that on my fork conversion but I have been able to live with out it so far.TOM
