Did you make any progress on your days off, or did the daily driver eat up all your free time?

And so to the fruit of today's labours   I have finished re-shaping the left side panel so it now fits properly in it's new home and is pulled in a little tighter to narrow the old girl around the waist ( every little helps when you have short legs) I basically cut into three main parts and then added or removed material where necc so it still looks like a KZ panel just a little different (15mm longer at the front, 35mm longer at the back and 25mm shallower in the depth) I have included a before and after comparison with the right side. If you don't have one of these "hot rivet" guns you should get one, even before it was glued it was solid with just the rivets (with plastics getting harder to come by most would be repairable using this method)
I have then painted over all the joints from the back with "gloop" ( scraps of ABS plastic disolved in acetone to make a paste) the acetone eats into the surface of the plastic to make a permanent bond ( it's like adding another layer of plastic) just needs a light skim of bondo and some mounts now

Nice work, that's something I don't think I'll ever have a go at - too much patience required!

I did say I wanted to use as many OE parts as possible, I never promised to leave them stock though

Thanks Doc, attached as requested. It's certainly on a journey and there isn't much "Ltd" left now
