I’ve contacted Ralph at paintwerkz. We’ll see how it goes.
I also found two instrument harnesses on eBay, maybe the last two in captivity. Weird that Doremi doesn’t make them.
ouch
PMC Japan makes a lot of Kawasaki stuff as well.... Both PMC and Doremi sell stuff through webike japan....

What does the gauge harness look like ?, Doremi, PMC and M-tec chukyo have every other harness for the 900, I'm certain they would not have left any out, That picture you posted Scirocco is a PMC part....

The gauges each have two lights.  There is a two wire harness for each gauge.  They plug into the dash harness.  Z1A and B also have a brake light in the tach.

I think I have a set of them somewhere.  I looked in my harness box but they were not there...I will look in my electrical box tomorrow.
I have several restored bikes along with a 2006 Goldwing with a sidecar. My wife has a 2019 Suzuki DR 650 for on and off road.

Hopefully my order will come.
By the way, can anyone post a photo of how all this wire exits the back (front) of the gauges to head down to the headlight? My bike was in pretty bad shape and I don't think it was right.

If you look at the back part of the dash panel you will see some indents that are designed to make room for the wiring to exit.  There should be two smaller indents and one larger one.

This morning I checked to find my gauge light harnesses.  Could not find them.  Maybe they are a figment of my imagination?

Thank you HRM
Ive decided to fix the bashed up original tank. Oahu has a pretty big car culture and I made some calls and found a guy that does a lot of custom work. His Instagram is @808painter1. He’s done some pretty impressive stuff. I think the bike will be better if it has the original tank. My next problem would be paint. I can get paint from paintworkzus but getting it shipped here is tough. I have some research to do

I get an error when trying to open that. Are you perhaps able to drop it in the filebase?

It looks like an interesting project. Good luck restoring/modifying it.

Thank you HRM

I had the paint shipped to Canada from Arizona but I think it went by land carrier.  That's not as easy to do if you live in the middle of an ocean.  You might be able to pursuade Ralph to give you the recipe and let you go to your local painter to mix up a batch.

That tank is rough!  Best of luck restoring it.
