That's what I think. I added one to my cart originally to see if it would add, then posted here. After Mikaw's post, I went back to the site and it was still in my cart, so I released it (after informing Mikaw) and it didn't become available again. I suspect adding it to my cart triggered a check, or Mikaw's email did. Too bad.
Back in the saddle and loving it! KZ1000A1

Thanks for the help. I went on a deep dive today through my stash. The sun and stars aligned and I found 3, believe it or not. Cleaned them up and a light spray of plastic paint and I think I’ll be golden.

Finding the correct plug boots motivated me to get out and make some of the mock ups permanent. It’s almost a legit roller. I did a little more after these photos and I’ll get more tomorrow, when the sun it out. Supposed to be 50+ here tomorrow.

Is that the rear tire that came on a stock KZ900?

No it’s not. No one makes the F6 front tire. I had the Dunlop tt100 front I bought years ago. So I just matched it with the same on the rear. The correct k87 is available but I didn’t want a miss matched tire set... I’ll keep searching for the correct F6B if I ever find one it’s not a big deal to swap the tires.

Yeah, they no longer make the F6 so I put F11's on both my Z1's. I have K87's on the rear but only one of them is a Gold Seal.

My buddy in Chilliwack owns Z1 S/N 1006 and he found an F6 somewhere in Europe, but he doesn't intend to ride his restoration. You can see the tire in this photo.

The fenders are repop I thought I could get away with. The rear is descent but the front has the chrome lifting on the lip and the cut and shape at the front is horrid. I’ll bite the bullet and send my OEM’s out to Steve at Tripp Plating. What sucks is I have spend half of the rechrome cost on junk... lesson learned!
