That would be Marcel. He's a Facebook friend of mine. He lives in Seattle. I bought a k87 from him but it wasn't a gold seal. He didn't have any at the time.

You should also be able to get them from PMC, out of Japan.
I have several restored bikes along with a 2006 Goldwing with a sidecar. My wife has a 2019 Suzuki DR 650 for on and off road.

Not me Matt, but I think it's a guy who just retired from Kawasaki in December. I was actually hired for the crating Dept. in January of 1975, but I was in the right place at the right time and had moved into the Engine Repair Dept. by the time that picture was taken. At that time the Motorcycle Assembly Line was a "T", with a "Fork Line" (lacing wheels, mounting tires, assembling front fork assemblies) meeting the "Frame Line"(frame#stamping, engine, wire harness, swingarm installation) at an elevator platform where the front fork assembly was installed and the bike was set on the mainstand to complete it's trip down the Mainline.

I am going to attempt lacing a rear wheel this week, any pointers? I do have a front to look at, THAT should help!

SUCCESS!!!! I thought that project was going to kick me arse. It was making me feel like a real D.A. after about three attempts and watching the video at least five times. I also used my Ebay purchased front wheel as a reference and used the marks on the hub as HRM suggested. After things magically started going good,( at 10:15P.M.) it pretty much just fell together. A great feeling of accomplishment, thanks again for posting the video!

The thanks was for you also, the person who originally posted the video! I was joking about the "stud " thing, it seems like a pretty simple task when you watch a genius do it on the video, and when it "magically" comes together when you are doing it in person.

Following the original marks on the hub is what messed me up. I couldn’t get the spokes to lay correct. I gave up on the original marks and it only took a couple attempts and the spokes all laced right. I like the way he used hi vice as a lazy Susan to make lacing easier

Hi Matt Mikaw, was thinking about you last night! I figure I am going to buy one of those caliper rebuild kits.
I see, posted from "Brake Crafters" ! Are these the kits you purchased? Same price ebay and by them direct on their website.
I figure I am going down to 1 disc and caliper for that drag strip beater bike. So, being a for sale bike, going at least a 100 MPH on the 1/8 mile. And a drum brake rear!! I want the front brake to WORK like new! With a New Stainless Piston and O-ring.

And do you still need a dimpled stock left side caliper mount??
I have both, a smooth and a dimpled. It does not matter to me which one I use. So I have an extra. I recall back you typing about the dimpled one? I'll go out and get some pictures. Plus I'm ruining a stock set of lowers! Because That's me! I'm smoothing out all the cast marks and smoothing the lines, And I'm painting gloss black like all the other items. Lot of work! Hand filing, shaping with round tail & flat files. Before all the Scotch air grinder products, then to the glass bead cabinet. Make them ready for primer.

Mikaw Matt, couple more pics. You know you can buff old chrome up a little. I hit a spot on that fender, shined up nice. I'll
leave the single brake on left leg up front.

Marty, I bought my caliper rebuild stuff from Jim at Redline Cycle. He sold me the brake crafters stuff.

I’m good on the caliper bracket. Mine are already mounted. Just waiting out the cold snap. Supposed to get 6-9” tonight and another 8-10” Wednesday night. I fell bad for the robins I’ve seen in the trees already.

Teach me how to polish up plastic. I’m still messing with the inner fender. I’ve sanded it with 3000 wet sand. And buffed it out a couple times. It’s getting better but still not there
