Wow What a beautiful Job . Love all the Gpz . Looks like another bike of the month .

The exhaust on the motorcycle is period original L&W 4-1 made specificaly for this model. It also allows you to reach oil filter without removing it. I would like to put some chrome 4-1 but everything i find is really expensive, plus Delkevic's and many other more affordable brands are not that close bended to the frame, so i would loose more ground clearance, which is already pretty low due to the 17 wheels and new fork. Any tips/offers?

Before i gave the petrol tank to the painter, i wanted to make sure that it's solid, rustfree, cause I'm not so keen in doing a repaint on some other tank in the future soon, especially since it's candy pearl colour, and we are painting the stripes, not using sticker decals.
In the last 10 years, i haven't done any cleaning to it, i knew it was full of crap and rust, but somehow regular fuel filter managed to keep the carbs alright.
Found a guy who owns custom bike shop in Belgrade, which made a tool which sprays ceramic particles in all directions inside of the tank, and when it removes all the rust, he uses epoxy based on aluminium to seal it. Results: see for yourself before/after.

One of the parts which is left unsolved is currently the chainguard. Since the new rim is wider than the stock one, the backmount for the chainguard had to be removed (Only piece of the project that needed structural removal ), so i am now looking for someone good with CNC to make me some minimalistic design using only two available front side mounts. Just want to keep the chainlube of the tail of the bike. If there's someone willing to help me on that, please let me know

First Its nice to see a GPZ A2 restomod and i can tell your is going to be one to watch. Can you explain the process of the tank cleaning , Iv'e never heard of using ceramic particles to blast a tank , How difficult is it to flush clean and the pic of the clean interior ,Has it been coated ?

To be honest I never heard of it myself until now. I was just searching for someone to do a classic electrolysis on the tank and I thought I'd be good to go, but i was convinced that this is a better solution (These guys reached to pipeburn.com with their projects, so they are not new in the stuff), with explanation that long periods of electrolysis would be needed on tank which is in this state, and that it would make the steel thinner and more prone to the future rust appearance. The tool that they made is handmade and is certainly based on sanding principle. The picture "after" is before the protective coating applied.

Got it . Well they did a great job cleaning the in side of the tank . I usually go the chem route . Looks great keep up the good work .

While waiting for the fairings to come from the bodyshop, decided to spend time on engraving the left engine decal. Decided to leave it black, not red lettering like the original.
