Don't panic! It's okay, it was cracked and I have two spare ones! No OEM Kawasaki parts were harmed in the making of this......well, maybe one. Big tail fender is now a little one. Need to make a new number plate holder with a small tail light and we will have a tidy rear end.

Funny that a similar accident happened on the other side of the globe at approximately the same time

Now trying to get my head around my design in order to CAD-up and print a new rearlight bracket with holder for the license plate and turn signals .

We should just build one bike. Be much easier

Slowly knocking off a few small jobs. Tried to use the original GPZ gear change but it just wasn't having it so Suzuki came to the rescue with more Bandit bits.

Finally finished the spacers for the rear engine mounts. Need to mount the oil cooler and then I won't be too far from taking it all apart to start the painting and powder coating process.

Stinking hot today but I did get out for quick ride with a couple of mates. Paddy's Z1 out for it's first ride after an engine rebuild and nothing broke or fell off it. Bonus!

Managed to get a bit more time to spend on the GPZ. One of the last things I need to square away before I pull her to bits again is an oil cooler. Looks like it will fit no worries and without any clearance issues. Just need to come up with a suitable bottom mount and make the brackets tidy and I will be in business.
