When you said it was clean, you weren't kiddin!
Looks like it was well-cared-for by the PO.
Seat looks a little Spartan for my 49 yr old butt. Looks like it'll move nicely thru the twisties.
Nice work!

The seat and tail came with the bike, and the PO mentioned something about it being a Drag Specialties part.

Is the seat/tail section hinged, and does it retain the seat lock? If the one that I found is the same, the description says you can use the stock hardware to mount. Any chance you could toss up a pic,or two? Later-John

The PO had it hard mounted. I noticed a sticker on the inside - I'll double check the manufacturer tonight.

Hey John - It is indeed the Moto Carrera Laguna Seat. I suppose what they mean by "stock mounts" is the 2 threaded holes up front and the 2 open holes (boxed in) in the rear as a bolt thru. I can't possibly see the stock hinge system working with this - it would sit way too high. The PO had the unit raised on some rubber pedestals (about 1" high) - I removed those today & I was surprised how well it fit those same four holes without the rubber peds - plus I lost and inch - lovely!

I need to get my cam back from the girl so I can snap some more pics.
