Hello!! I've been a long time "lurker" on your forum and the information shared has been great! I've been riding motorcycles since 1979 and mini bikes before that. I've restored, built, repaired, owned and sold motorcycles for a long time. Every once in a while you find something that makes you stop in your tracks and you know that you MUST have it. This time it was a restored 1981 KZ1000P San Diego pursuit bike and I thought it was amazing. Low and behold I ended up buying it and had her shipped literally across the country. She was everything I hoped for but needed a little loving. I went through the bike meticulously and now she's road worthy, safe, and ready to enjoy. I've attached a pic but rather than eat up your server space I have a link (below) to my website that has more photos to view. (click on the latest project page)

Thanks again for having me!

Wally
PS. I also restore numerous items for fun so if you have any questions feel free to ask me.

Welcome. I’m not by any means a Kz1000c expert but I’m seeing things on this bike I have never seen. The gauges and sun shade, the baton holder. Very cool.

Nice KZP. And, with all the necessary accouterments. Is it legal to ride in your area?
My KZp is fitted with the absolutely must-have item for a cop bike.

Welcome!

Brings back such fond late 70's/ early 80's TV memories of "Poncherello" and "Jon" in CHiPs!
4 wheels could never out-run 'em!
Awesome machines!

Welcome Wally.
Very nice rides you have, and Cave to store them in.

John, a good friend who passed away, had a Police KZ1000.
His not quite as original as yours.
Did a section of the KZR relay with him 10 years ago.
