No better day to start to learn some tricks and make some mod’s than Christmas Day. Just a little about me. Retired mechanic from GM Chevy/Buick of 32yrs. I’m 53yrs young and been riding dirt bikes and enduros since I was 13. My 1st cycle was a Yamaha xt125 then a tt250 in the 80’s. Once I got my driver’s license I didn’t have much interest in cycles as a older teenager. Not until ‘96 I got the bug again and found a sweet 1984 Honda interceptor VF1000F! One owner with 1300 miles. Traded that in on a new ‘01 CBR929RR, then traded on ‘04 vtx1300 “Rosa”! Then now a ‘03 goldwing. So now I got cool little project bike ‘82 440 LTD belt drive. It’s in ok shape. Carbs are apart and in the little of cleaning them. Since here in south central Pa.  This is a winter project so I’m in no hurry.

Welcome to the forum. I too just picked up 440. Mine is a 1981 KZ440 B2. Planning an starting the restoration in January.

I'd like to extend an Arizona sized welcome to our forum.Got any pics of your project? I had a KZ440 back in the early '90 for a while. Nice ride for comuting. Maybe some local backroad riding.
