Hello all,
My name is Kevin and this site rocks. I am an ultra newb to forums forgive me in advance. I also suck at typing. I live in Vermont, born and raised in Baldwinsville,NY.
I have just recently realized my dream of owning a running 1976 KZ900 A-4! Got it running yesterday as a matter of fact, thanks to helpful electrical posts from various members.
I'm out of time, work calls and I have to order more parts! I will post more soon,  I have much to share about my crazy bike. Thanks

Welcome. I know you have been reading post to fix your electric issues, but you missed a very important post. The forum likes pictures. To quote a member. “ pics or it didn’t happen”. Lots of help here just ask! personally I’m biased toward the big fours, but really enjoy them all. Good luck and remember, pictures, pictures, pictures.

got the bike about 10 years ago looked like above. Was sitting in a friends (AJ's) field, and paid $100.00. Now prior to me buying this a different friend (Ray) owned the bike when it had the original factory vetter fairing. This was 1994 ish, he wanted $900.00 for it and I couldn't afford it. Eventually Ray sold it to another friend (lucas) who took off the vetter fairng (supposedly with leg guards), sold it at a swap meet and then it ended up at AJ's to sit and become a mouse house, mostly in #4 cylinder. Anyway motor has been stuck ever since. I tried recently to unstick it gently with an aquarium pump (ala Dawin on you tube) to no avail. So... A couple years ago, my wife's girlfriends husband mentioned his mom's deceased husband had a kz1000, parts , a  kz 650, a motorcycle trailer, spare motor etc.He said I could have all of it free. Long story  , covid and assorted timing issues, I finally got the motor(kz100b2)  I'll add more soon

$100? Wow. The front rim is worth more than that. Those are highly sought after Lester mag wheels. Did you install the Kz1000 engine?
