Ever since I had to let go of Z1B in the past (life happened), I always wanted an old(er) Kawasaki. Everything worked out this time, and I acquired this KZ!
I had to drive 8+ hours to pick it up but when you don't live in a city thats what you gotta do sometimes.

Anyway! Just wanted to say hi to the forum.

And I even got JIS crosspoint bits!

Do I have a KZ750E? Can someone confirm this?

Welcome. Eight hours must be the magic number to fine a nice Kawasaki. I bought two this summer that were each eight hours away. One was from a forum member. He (and his lovely wife) met us at the mid point and saved me a lot of driving.

I was willing to drive 12 hours lol, besides, I got to see a good friend of mine after 10 years. Worked out great. Plan is to make this KZ into somewhat a brat style. We'll see.

Thanks JR for confirmation. It was one of duh moments, I checked the VIN, sure enough, it says "KZ750E-007XXX" haha

I like the exhaust tho (Delkevic, correct?)! You happen to have a movie with rev sound??

Are these trunk and side cases worth anything? I took them off, including the shield, they just aren't my cup of tea.. The seller I bought this bike from was convinced that they are precious/rare.

Yes Delkevic exhaust . No movie or sound clip. Louder than the Mac it replaced and almost louder than i would prefer although not quite to the point of being obnoxious. Check the Delkevic website as they may now offer a longer (quieter) version . Well made and great price.

Rare-ish, but not really precious. The market for them is small, but if they are in good shape, you should be able to get some money for them if you are patient.
