Hmmmmm.....nobody said "Welcome to Z-Jungle" yet:woohoo:
But seriously......I used EXACT SAME lights on my kz1000 when I put a 650 tail piece on it (always liked those.....better looking than the 900-1000 duckbill).

Welcome aboard, and keep them pics coming!! Oh yeah....how'd you give the tailpiece that "slightly-kicked-in-the-arse" look? I like!!!!!

The ongoing search for caliper's has led me to try and match a set of Suzuki GS 550 brake's up, and guess what... they almost go straight in with the GS wheel aswell, a small amount of modding and Bob's some dude's uncle, although what he's got to do with it i don't know... A spacer on the right to stop the GS spacers going through the spindle clamp, the spacer also need's to be in place to line up the calipers with the disc's, the GS sleeve's where too small so a cut up bean tin beefed up the size of those in the clamps and plenty of jiggling and swearing untill "hey presto" it worked...eventually.

I have been looking at that rear with sceptical eyes i must admit...
But, Sorry to say ive done my back in trying to save the bike when she fell over [already got a broken back so it wasnt hard to screw it up again], so im afraid youll have to wait for the next thrilling instalment...

Unhinged, sorry about your back, it's hard to bull around bikes and engines while you're hurting. While youre recuperating, maybe you could explain that "Bob's your uncle" bit that you English guys use?

Thanks for your concern peeps, and thanks for the offer of the SR wheel... i might ask to take you up on the offer when ive got a few other things out of the way.
As for "bob's your uncle"... untill you asked i didnt really know the true meaning of "Bobs your uncle" and having done some research... im still none the wiser, try this for an explanation,

Im back and my backs better-ish.
The kz is finally finished... ive even managed to use mostly original parts.
The GS wheel had to go, there wasnt enough clearance for the disc and so the search for calipers lead me to overhauling the old kz ones... i used some bits from various bikes and got a set of calipers together, one footrest from a cb 400 soperdream, the other off god knows what... and so the tail goes on untill the final product is now awaiting an m.o.t.
The running problem was sorted by checking on the blokes wiring that i bought her off and it revealed the return wires on the coils where connected the wrong way round... typical...
