Looks like a great time had by all!  I am in the throws of 2 stroke rebuilds.  Those engine stands are what I am looking for.  Some were out of stock when I tried to order.  Any suggestions are appreciated on best motor stands for work bench and for inline 4 as well as single cylinder engines.

Thanks, Forrest

ps: any pity my way for a 650 B1 carb rebuild and possible top end check this winter?

Forest, I found that stand online through Fakebook. It was located near Wheelhop, I called him and said go get this. I wasn’t even concerned about who owned it but I knew “we” as a group needed something like this. Wheelhop brought it with him this trip and I was completely blown away on the quality of the item. It appears to be home built, but by someone with some real fabrication talents. I have the now discontinued K&L MC25 stand, and this one will be my first go to. Upon Wheelhops departure he was so generous to leave the stand as a gift to me. I just have to say you don’t find guys like him often, someone that truely would give you his last shirt. Thank You!

I found this on evilbay, Also there is a MC25 listed

The 1974 Z1 motor is back home. I put a vapor honed/blasted cam cover on it today with polished "ends".
I also had a breather vapor blasted that I  polished and installed.  Just beginning to learn how to polish metal / aluminum bits but am enjoying it so far.

Looking good Jim!  We should reconnect.  I would like to see your process on polishing.  My KZ650 could use a spiff once I get to it.

So far my polishing "process" is very limited.  Luckily I have acquired enough parts over the past few years that i am able to practice on some sidecovers that would otherwise be unusable.
I will give you a call and we can get caught up.

I have been distracted with that awful affliction, WORK!  Plus, too many plates spinning.  Only a year of my life behind on the F7 project and then the KH500.  In other words, no good excuses just life.  Going to retire in a couple of years.  I think 1st place I travel to and spectate will be the Isle of Man TT!  But first must restore Moto Bikes! ..... and work.

Added a few more pieces to the Z1 motor today.  Thanks to Randy Cole "Rscone11" who gave me a good deal on an already polished clutch cover.  Also installed the oil bypass and pressure unit I received from Clay "Asphalt900" thank you Clay also
