My condolences to your family. We lost our little one a couple weeks before Thanksgiving. He died in the company of his two of his brothers (my sons) by his side. He was with us for 16 years. Was older then my youngest child by three years. Each night, I had to decide who the dog would sleep with. There was always a competition for his company, lol. He was incredibly loved. We got him when my oldest was going through a tough time in kindergarten. Best decision we ever made. A kid growing up with a dog makes for a more compassionate adult.
