Haha! I loathed titles, refused to have one for many years at my first business, would not let anyone else have one either. When I finally gave in, the first title I used on a business card was "Head Cheese". I enjoyed the double entendre too, along with those that recognized it :-).

Current card says "Chief RestoCycler". And my last official act yesterday before closing up the shop was on my knees cleaning the floor around the vapor blaster and taking out the trash. The paparazzi were waiting for me outside.

N.

The title I was trying to avoid is "Fenestration Master". :pinch:

I attended the Fire Dept Christmas party last night and so far no Snowflakes have stepped forward to become Firefighters ;)

Just hard working highly motivated people who are willing to put it all on the line for the community.

I've done and do so many different things over the years, I really don't know anymore. Every day is a different. That's why I'll never really be retired. B)

I'm retired US Navy and retired Law enforcement. Now serving on the City Council as an elected official, Chair for the public safety committee. Bard member of county transportation authority. At times it was just easier to be a LEO.

I was Chair of the County Service Area 104 8 years, member 12. You get to see what people are really like being a public servant. The County isn't much better, just better organized.

Last time I posted in this thread I was working as a custodian in a middle school in New Hampshire and earning poverty wages.
Now I'm working as the Tool Control Program Coordinator for a Navy Adversary Squadron at NAS Key West.
Life is better and I plan to give myself a new Kawasaki Vulcan 900 for my birthday this summer.

Thanks Bill. I'm a civilian contractor. Dad had 31 years in the Navy and tried to talk me into joining when I was seventeen, but I didn't listen to him. Back then I knew everything and it was too many years before I'd look back and say, "I wish I'd listened to the old man."
