Does anyone know what the formula or code is for this paint, I want to get mine done in this colour but don't have a sample to colour match from, best I have is the brochure or photos from the web.
Is there anybody on here that resides in Brisbane Australia with this colour model that could help me out please?

I am not sure, but is this the color you are looking for? I buy all my paint from them and they are awesome to  deal with. Any questions just email them and they get back to you fast. they can get you any size you need.

I don't think so...Candy Cobalt Blue is one of the original colours that the J2 came in.
But thanks anyway 👍

I had a quick look and came up with the below - code appears to be 25U although some disparity with the name of the colour ????

Just to confuse things a little more, the below lists the code you are looking for as 4S  !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

4S isn't a useable code. that's just the color suffix in the part number for painted parts. from the diagrams.

And that picture of the colours schemes is far darker than it actually is.

Z1000J2 somewhat modified!

Like H1Vindicator pointed out, according to the parts catalogue the part number has the suffix 4S but that means nothing to my painter, he has suggested the only way to accurately colour match is to get hold of an original panel.
I'm hoping to find someone locally with a Candy Cobalt Blue model that can help me out 🙏

Hi Wookie you wouldn't happen to have the same colour chart for the KZ750 range would you?
There's an 81 KZ750 for sale close to me and the colour looks right, just wanted to see if they came in Candy Cobalt Blue?
That's a ripper chart, I wasn't aware of all those colour options, like the Metallic Stardust Silver for the 1984 Z1100R for example, learn something new everyday on here!
Cheers

I don't unfortunately, however looking at the "model identifiers" in the site file-base it appears the 750 is "luminous gun blue"
