I'm sure someone could make you a one off. The reason I sent the last link is I've noticed some NOS bits that gets left on the shelf sometimes lack the part number ticket or have incorrect info,
I contacted your suggested person but he has not been active on KZR for over a month...thanks for the info, though. Nice photo that accompanied your last post
Michael,
I just replied to your PM. Sorry for the delay, and it looks like you have the information from Brendan you were looking for. I don't know why I didn't get an e-mail message about your PM you sent.

The published part number seems a little suspect though... could your fairing part number be a misprint too?
Love that catalougue, pure GPz porn!

Thank you, I appreciate the offer...what I wanted to know was if the mounting brackets and windscreen were available separately...and as it turns out, they were not...one had to purchase the entire fairing to get all the components. I also have a complete 1981 fairing to use as a template, not sure what I'll do at this time.

It sounds like you found a NOS one? I have mounting brackets too if thats needs to be fabricated.
I saw that somebody had some original documentation for the early GPZ's; it happens that I bought my 81 1100 from the original owner (widow), and the bike only had 3500 original miles on it. It stop running around 1991 and was parked ever since. It only had one oil change. Included with the bike was all of the original paper work, including sales brochures and the dealer bar tag for the gpz line. The owner bought every option available, fairing, case guards, cable lock...for total cost of (for the bike) $3000.00 US in Jan of 1981. Original owner was 23 years old when he bought it.
