Frame color poll

everyone has there own taste abd I an sure gloss black is a big favorite since most were done that way new but technology has come along way in 30 yeaRS AND TASTes change I have also seen a few done various ways and liked this one not that one etc...

street and show is my preference. nothing cooler than a concept build with a .2 tank and no legaL AMMENITIES

but lookin at allot of the different bikes at local shows the non rider wins the classic and the order some more chrome from budget bikes.com harley or boly another piece on my cruiser wins the local stuff

my bike is in no way a show bike its a rider a real rider things get scratched and i suck at cleaning. but as I redo some more this year and next and the following etc... I want to pay attention to detail and update to what i have never been that good at liking what the masses seem to

Ive had black frames,blue frames/red frames/a chrome plated frame.
I think the one that really sticks in my head is a gs1100 suzuki dragbike I saw at a shop in omaha back in mid-late 80s with a blue fame and yellow bodywork.
Now that these bikes havent been new for 30-40 years Im starting to like the origional paint jobs again with black frames,since you dont see 5 of them on every street corner anymore like the plastic bikes

i feel ya my next paint will have a little more stock flair
i love a wide tire so probably wait for a cafe build or a 73 fall in my lap and do a resto lol

Silly kids! :laugh:

I go with black for a few reasons but a colored frame can work...depending on the color. I have seen a yellow bike with yellow frame where the yellow frame took away from the rest of the bike. Just too much yellow. It comes down to the whole package like anything else.
