I recommend these

New bars! i just put these on last night. They are standed 7/8 inch Renthal handlebars. Came off of a KDX dirtbike i believe. I had to take an angle grinder with the wire wheel to them to remove the black paint and rust that was on them. I like how they look on my 81' KZ1000LTD.

wow that acctually looks really nice i plan on getting either drag bars or clubmans for my 81 KZ1000 they are gonna be black its gonna look sweet :woohoo:

Drag bars are going to look wicked. Just make sure they dont bump the tank when you turn. You can always get risers for them if that happens though. And thanks

yeah im just at a standstill between drag bars or cubman bars the clubmans have a 1 inch longer pullback but the have a 4.5 inch drop to them

to the right guy doing a mid 70's dirt-trail bike resto those might be worth enough to buy whatever bars you want on ebay.

I have a set of drag bars and had clearance issues with the front master. Went with clip-ons instead but the drag bars did look really cool.

Hmmm.... ill have to check on that. They were off of a wrecked bike so the right side bar end was kinda smeared and the throttle tube didnt want to spin. Kinda like i had a push pull throttle. I had to file it down a small bit but they are pretty nice now. Ill look into their value (even though i love how they look)

My dad's 76' KZ400 Has clubmans on it and i will say, they feel kinda goofy. The controls and stuff clear the tank to turn the bars all the way but this bike has a really skinny gas tank on it. They do look cool as hell but just warning you, you gotta lean WAY forward. Kinda nice to lie on the tank when your going like 80MPH though

I found these Renthal's 5 years ago on ebay for $9.99! They cost $79 new today!
Mine had the reinforce bar on removable clamps.
They have an anodized finish, that's why so hard to strip.
You got to sand blast them.
Made from aircraft quality aluminum.
I do find them different, exactly what I wanted years ago.
I still search ebay for cheap ones today.

i switched my superbikes for some....for one ride....creepy feel imo...

Oh i love them they feel awesome. Only problem was they came off of a dirtbike that had been crashed before. Had to grind down a tiny bit of metal off the throttle side. Kinda just deburring it. They were also bent a very tiny bit on that side but i got them nice and straight with a few taps from a hammer. Would off to sell them but they're pretty darn comfortable. are those metal grips? If so where the hell do i get those. I wanted some knarled metal like that for footpegs but grips would be WAY cooler
