Not that I would use it, but I saw a duplicolor engine paint in a bright, almost kawasaki green. That would be kinda cool if you could manage to paint the engine with that, then paint the ends of the fins black....

hi dont know what your looking for on the fenders but i am going to run the police rear on mine, and the front well its not police but it is kaw. and not bad looking and paintab

I used PPG base coat sundown silver and and a flat clear on my engine and carbs(using a paashe airbrush)Never peeled and looks like new,I've gotten alot off compliments on how clean everything looks.Check out my pic in the KZ 1000 gallery,its close to the last entry.

Think about baking a potato in the micro, then wraping aluminium foil around it, same with those nice shiney engine cases, :lol:

It's very close to the original kwak black but i do start with freshly blasted and de-greased castings for a durable finish.
Is it applicable for the 5 years old engine also?

Ive been using header paint for the engine and pipes since the first 73 z1 I owned. Heats the least of your problems. Those engines will take incredible abuse, Ive never seen another engine even come close
