Update:
I bought the Aircraft paint remover for flexible plastic. I tried it on a sidecover with a broken tab. I have to say I was not impressed with the results. It hardly dented the paint and was tough to get off. I ended up wet sanding it with the green pads just to get that crap off. Even then it stays in the corners and crevisses. I can't recommend it.


I have some old brake fluid. I'll give that a try.
