Went thru 25 of these in 40 yrs.
I SOLD OUT! THE KAW BARN IS EMPTY.
More room for The Old Girl, Harley 75 FLH Electra Glide,
Old faithful! Points ign. Bendix Orig. carb.
Starts everytime!

I am not sure what you have. But when I paint Harley tanks. The decals have a backing paper.
On the backside. I tape 1/2 of the side of the decal on with tape.
Then I slice the tape on the back in the middle and peal it off. Then I stick that down.
Then it is in the correct position. I peel back the front half.
I always use Ivory liquid soap mixture. Keep em wet. And a rubber sanding squeegee!
Work all the air out and dry it off.
Then you hope the clear coat don't bubble it up on the first wet coat!!!
This is why bike paint jobs cost so much! It is a lot of hard, tedious work.

Yeah we always used a shampoo water mix at the sign shop. Good if you want to reposition, but you'd be surprised how quick it becomes unmoveable even with that.
