WOW, I have to say, what a shame. Maybe he didn't realize what he had. Being a KZ lover from the 80"s I sure do. It's not dead, paint is just paint, maybe he'll come around...

He didn't get his butt kicked. One of the complainers has a 74 Z1 sitting outside in the rain rusting away and he says what he feels. Especially when someone else is doing something he don't like I guess. And I sure don't agree with his pricing evaluations. Others have that same original bike and of course they would hammer him for it. Most seems to like his paint job. The only trouble is everyone has an opinion and are more than willing to share the good and bad. Lately it seems more are more willing to say the bad. I bet he took the bad with a grain of salt, as he knows, as do a lot of others he has a nice bike there. There may be some jealousy involved or just have the rag on today. It's nice to have someone say nice job or sweet ride you have there. But either way what exactly does someone else's opinion count for? They are not gonna ride it.

You are right proxy it is a very nice bike i left my rims purple just piss people off even though i want to change color. Ur right about opinions i hear them all still love my bike. Nice job fstnv1.

Whether you like green or not, I think the real issue here is that the factory paint was sacrificed. Those factory body parts could have been sold and would have funded the entire project. Another beat up set of body parts can always be painted, but they're only factory original once. I personally like the green and I think the paint job looks like a quality job. That being said, no way would I have painted over the factory paint. I "custom" painted my MKII back in 1990 when it seemed OK to do...big, big, mistake looking back now.

so i guess all the stock paint whiners did not notice that the green tank is a kz tank and the stock paint tank is an ltd :ohmy: .


or maybe we should just restore them all and build clear cases for them,

i personally liked both paint jobs , with the first post i thought that was the repaint , people probably don't like my purple either but i only gotta make me happy
