Advice on relocating front turn-signals

Hi Guys, I finally put some new handle-bars on my bike, (originally was going to put drag-bars on but I did like them so I went with some "european" bars) and I have the turn-signals that clamp on the bars. I'd like to move the signals off the bars and mount them close to the headlight, like on a 650B or C. Can I use the fork ears from a B or C ? do they have to be modified ? and would I have to take apart my whole frontend to put them on ? or has anyone else come up with an easier way to do it ?

Here's a pic of the old bars:

I'll run out and take a pic or three of what I've done. I bought the same bars to replace my LTD bars, but I never had normal turn signals in the first place.

All I did was take the reflectors off, drill out the holes, and mount a couple of double sided amber trailer turn/hazard/park lights on each ear.

Although, I'm toying with the idea of mounting some of these front and back.

You guys were up late last night, weren't you? When you switched to more normal bars from the LTD bars, how much stuff did you have to replace- I'm thinking about doing it, but my clutch and throttle cables and front brake line will all be too long.

Do like I did and get rid of those fork ears all together and get a nice set of thick and shiiney Billet Aluminum Headlamp bracket for the forks.

I then utilized two bolts that were already on the front to attach an aluminum bar to mount my signal lights to. Very easy to make if you have a hacksaw and a vice. :)

Anyhow, don't know how much time you're looking to put into it or how much you want to spend but I got rod of those rusty thin fork ears and the news ones give it such a better look IMO of course.

Here's the back just for consistency. :)

When I get the chance I am going to get another set of these turn signals and mount them were the bolts are for the headlight mount is.They are a very good price and are very bright on a sunny day were you can still see them.
