Just my .02. TK's brass color looks killer on the swingarm, but I would have to see it for myself to approve of the whole frame. Mainly, his powder coater does incredible work. BTW, his silver frame works, but only with the brighter orange paint. I also like Thompsonmx100's white frame on his bike, but it only works for me with his red paint and white stripes. I think brightly colored frames are for bikes with frames that you want to accentuate. Think Ducati trellis frame, Bimota, Moto Martin, or Spondon. I'll leave you with the immortal words of Henry Ford "People can have the model T in any color - so long as it's black."

The Home Run lines of the KZ as drawn by it's creators flow, unlike almost any makers bikes to follow in the coming years. The engine being the showcase but never the center of all attentions. The engine,oh that engine could almost be seen to be wonderful in any type bike, but, sitting in perfect balance under the large and graceful tank, perched forward and brought to life by the four giant individual carburetors cradled by the unique yet timeless side covers, never to be matched in their natural life look, that mimic the tank and draw the veiwers eyes back and along the simple angles of gloss black frame, back, swept up, towards the signiture and benchmark ducktail rear cowling...from the perfect smooth lines of that chrome front fender and it's round tire like shape, reflecting pure form in funtion to the large thick disk and polished aluminum fork lowers, all the way to the rear tire which is made that size and sidewalled that high not to meet current hillbilly convention ,but, because that IS the amount of rubber an artist places in those balanced spaces.
The KZ works,It is perfect in form and timeless. It asks no quarter and needs no explanation. From a 5 year old child to am 85 year old non bike rider, they get it right away.
If you think by sticking parts that dont flow and painting things bright colors you have created a masterpiece, think again.
You might have just ruined one.

trianglelaguna, if you'd been talking about a Benelli, a Ducati, or maybe even an Aprilla, I'd have agreed. But talking about a UJM like that kind of makes me wonder if you've been smoking something

And guitargeek, I kind of wonder what kind of fetish you have when you have so many pictures of motorcycles with red frames? I'm starting to worry about you

Forget painting or powdercoating, you just can't beat the Rickman's nickel plated frames!

Nah, that was about ten minutes of Google image searching.

I'm starting to worry about you

Just trying to make a point: Red frames aren't any sort of trademark Ducati touch. Ducati certainly didn't start the trend.

And besides, who doesn't like a bit of motoporn?

There's a lot to be said for nickel plating...

;)

As for the original poster and his glow-in-the-dark frame: It seems a bit... overdone.
