windsheilds yea/nay

ive seen most bike here don't use sheilds. i don't care for the look much. today its been 48f all day long 98precent humidity, but sun it will 70f but will be very cool in shade and in low spot. just looking for input do they work? and how well? just trying toget few more weeks ridin before the real cold gets here.

If you don't like the look, I'd look at an easily removable/handlebar mounted one like mentioned above.

They do work when it's cool, but I find my hands/legs are where I struggle - I can always wear a jacket.
