Anyway to tell the original color (Blue or Red) of my Z1B from the title #'s or frame stampings? Thanks

There's nothing to show which color it came out of the factory painted.

Only the original sale information would show that, occasionally titles (if previous owners hadn't bothered to change the color in the title). You can't even rely finding a color under the repaint as it's very easy to swap bodywork between bikes.

I guess it will be Blue then. I talked to the original owner and he can't remember what the original color was before he painted it. I bought it back in 1977.

I believe a root beer color with orange trim was one combination available but not sure what year.

1974 had the root beer/orange combo in a pattern similar to the 1975 scheme:)

I still have the front five Kawasakis in the picture. I just placed individual pictures of each in the gallery. My wife says I have a problem with selling a bike when I get a new one. I really don't think its that big a problem. ;)
