Sorry, I don't know what that means. Those pics are half-assed by the paint accesory in Windows. Far cry from Photoshop, I realize....

Post edited by: shawntmartin, at: 2007/04/02 14:19
I think people thought you were painting over the flames...not onto another set of tank/panels.....
Thats all I was saying:whistle:
Oh I like the yellow but maybe a little more on the orange side would be good.

Sorry, do you mean the stocking thingy or do you think I was being funny by saying"that old trick"....
I've seen someone stretch a fishnet stocking over body work/tank and spray, when you remove the stocking it looks like snakeskin. ish

:woohoo: :silly: :woohoo: :silly: :woohoo: :silly: :woohoo: :silly: :woohoo: :silly: :pinch: dont hold back Ron!Yellow looks good. Maybe get the wheels powdercoated as well as the seat, frame, tires ect. It should all be yellow to be really cool. Maybe two tone would even be better, what about red for the tires and the seat ect? Now we're getting somewhere. How do we do rubber though? Will standard paint stick to tires and the seat? Maybe don't even need powdercoat. Powdercoating rubber is probably better for long term than paint though I would say.

Well phooey.....cant figure out how to dump the flames and do a PROPER photochop! Dash it all.....where Pterosaur whe ya need him!!??!!??
Oh, I'm around - cross-eyed and carpal tunneled, but I'm around.
"Proper" chop? I'm hardly a talented amatuer, believe me.
Okay - so what is it I'm supposed to mangle? The flame job and lose the chin? All yellow?
If that's the desired look, I can give it a shot - and it might take a little longer than the usual "Perils of TG" I whip out in less than a minute...
Tell me what you're looking for..

does the fishnet thing really work?
Way back when men were men and proper motorcycles had two cylinders, using lace table cloths, fishnet, etc, as a mask over a solid color was the "cool" thing to do.
The paint jobs never seemed to last long though.
(Snuck in another twin reference)

Whatever photoshop you want to do is perfect... the more the better.... do any of them if you have the time and interest...
It isn't really a matter of "how many" - it's *how good*. I'd rather do one nice one than half a dozen cartoon panels on TG's love life. :woohoo:
In order to do one right, it takes multiple layers and attention to detail; check some of the shots in this thread - and even they're hack jobs.
That's why I asked for some more detail before getting out the p-hacksaw....
