theres nothing wrong with armor-all on ltd style seat or most rubber parts,i dont reccomend it on tire tread though!:S :P

A friend who has a V-Star uses those tire 'sponge' applicators that a lot of hot rodders use.. Instead of spraying it all over the tire, you wipe it onto the sidewall. He says he can do the front and rear and have total control of not getting anything at all on the contact portion of his tires...
I haven't used anything on the tires on any of mine...

As far as grips, my KZ has Roadhawk foam grips, and my Boulevard has rubberized grips.

What I usually use to wash both bikes is Meguires Quick Detailer. Spray it on, wipe it off. Works great on the ranks and the fenders. I use Invisible Glass on the windshield and chrome.
