Mods continue - clubman bars
03 Aug 2006 12:00
I decided to make the leap to a more classic cafe profile and I ditched the superbike bar and buell flyscreen in favor of a clubman bar and no screen. Future plans include a dunstall style windscreen, but that's a ways down the road. So, what does the peanut gallery think?
Change from the front
Hey look, there's my silver A4 in the background!
Change from drivers position
And some glamor shots
She's got a big a$s doesn't she?

Sharp!
How's the brake master cylinder/reservoir at that angle?
Any difference in braking?

I was worried about the same thing, but so far it's not a problem.
There are a couple of things that need to be addressed still, but it totally transformed the handling. much more "flickable" now.

Rear sets may be next, but a viper fairing is not. If I get a fairing, I'm going all the way and putting on a Dunstall style fairing. No offense, but the Viper's don't spin my top, it's not a very graceful piece.

Nice bike! Do the wrapped headers serve a purpose? I like the look.

Me likes. You're right, baby's got back, kinda hard to tell from that angle though... It would be nice to see a shot from the side sometime to get an idea of the lines...
Totally agree on the Viper fairing, don't like 'em at all.
