Iv done quite a few miles in the past in various countries, longest being from Ireland to the top of Norway (nordcapp) and home, i ran ape hangers on my XV1600 filled with oil and sand compacted into the pipe and plugged off with bar ends, worked a treat. Having numb fingers from the vibrations and from the cold...not ideal.
