Actually, my springs more closely resemble those from the non-pressurized variety - they have an even distribution of coils instead of more closely wound coils at one end.

Someone suggested a particular harley hand pump, but I don't remember exactly which one. I never could get them aired up the same, so don't bother any more. Most guys get new progressive springs & eschew the air.

You coil does have a tighter wound section like mine in a non air assist forks. Also is the alloy damper rod cap missing? item 10 or 19.
