Price:£140.00
Located in:Alresford, United Kingdom (near UK middle and Isle of Man)
Pretty good deal, use your neck on this frame or parts for your frame.
Price:£1500 = $2000 USAYes you guessed right in 40 years of biking never been riped off like this before , they seriously thought the bike was a project lol , ebay removed my negative feedback from DK request !!!
so bent frame no serial number on engine , they took off the alt rotor and left the broken bolt in tbe crank , wiring harness is toast
I am not happy about it didn't mind the siezed engine my last bike was siezed and i rebuilt it but 1500 pounds for basically a tank two wheels half an engine no bright work no clocks or wiring no foot pegs , I costed out the project as a bike described honestly not hiding serious problems
so I didn't cost having to buy engine casings and or new frame or repair , I am working on the frame myself with a fix or junk approach I am happy with what I have done but from the rear shocks to the back needs replacing
I was going to try to make a original kz1000 but now perhaps a toecutter madmax bike so I don't need to hide all the work I have had to do
Probably could find project in usa for $2000, will need some work for sure.
.
Same in usa, what town are you in ?Riding a bike is being free.

I did not ask. Frame is a 76 KZ900 rear drum brake. The title and vin is a 77 KZ-B LTD. It was a drag strip bike. I have done this before, over the years. I make a jig and spot weld to neck. Then grind new stamps down, put primer in, sand that then paint. The Law never checked out any old Kaws. In Buffalo, NY. But the Patch Holders with Harleys were always scrutinized Old HD's had a special coding! Different shapes! Certain crocked angles! That weird star! Plus they changed it every couple of years.
But when I sell this bike, I will divulge the information in the sale ad. This bike title came from Indiana and was in Rochester NY when I bought it pre-covid.

Will be for sale when title arrives. I'm starting to list stuff on ebay. I might sell it all! Just have other stuff going on. Selling a double home. My machinist friends car I help with Caged Heat AA/Gasser needs another engine block rebuild! Cracked another one! Old Hemi 1954's were not made for Supercharged methanol 1000 horsepower. We fill the water jackets with concrete for support. Now I need a beer! [attachment=150728]th

I basically is just 1/4" standard industrial stamping. I'm sure the factory had a machine type press of some sort?
I had this set of stamps for 40 years. It fell into my lunch box one day by accident at the large commercial printing plant I worked at for 34 years!
But years ago, I would put some time into doing a frame # job I would tack weld a bracket to frame depending how many digits were used. Put 1 stamp in, fill the rest with lower spacers real tight and snug. Then just go 1 at a time replacing spacers with a stamp
You had to hit it once hard, but then with the convex radius of the frame neck you could lightly rapid tap it a little more to the top or bottom side by rocking it a little, had to get the feel of it.
Then of course a little rasp or file action, some primer before paint.
Just for the record, we never dealt in anything that was stolen, just old titles from wrecked bikes or bikes turned into drag bikes that a title was just sitting in a drawer not used. So if another guy needed it. Here is a quick pic of what I have. Have the whole alphabet & #'s
