For sure the 1982 GPZ1100 did not come with two keys. One did everything. I bought one new in March 1982, and it was really a most unreliable motorcycle to say the least, but even with that being said, I loved it, and still wish I had one. Good luck and enjoy.

For those wondering if the cap's pivot pin can be pushed out, I just did it very easily on the two LTD fuel tanks I posted in the "for sale" section.
So, removing the cap on the GPZ1100 fuel tank should be easy and straighforward. I'll do it later when it will be the time to begin working on it. I expect a bad rusty surprise though...

I did eventually manage to get the gas cap off the KZ440 I was given. Had been sitting for 32 years in very damp conditions. Took a couple of weeks with penetrating oil down the key hole, wiggling the key back and forth whilst relieving pressure on the cap spring. Patience is the key it seems.
