The z650 frame is 5mm narrower at the s/a pivot (230mm ) compared to the 900/1000 (235mm ) and the chain run with a 5.5" rim , 170/180 tyre , around 8mm off the sprocket carrier (depending on wheel ) and 5/8th offset front will JUST clear the 900/1000 frame without any other mods ( A 6" rim needs the frame notching )
This is assuming the wheel is correctly centered exactly to the millimetre..
The 650/750 frame will need the frame clearancing for the chain run with a 5'5" rim and this is a complete strip to bare frame to do it properly.
You may want to go for something narrower like a 600 bandit rim (150/160 tyre) that should match the SRAD front spoke pattern without all the hassle of stripping the bike and notching the frame..
You will still need an offset front sprocket ( 3/8" or 1/2"} and probably some machine work on the rear carrier to get the chain alignment.

Arm ready for you to paint and install your pivot bearings, $325, comes with axle to fit the wheel, just need to know if drum or disc brakes. I just shipped a rush package to Australia, Was a tick over $80, on a slow ride it would have been less than $15 buck. I can size one up and check on USPS to give you a ball part, just need an address to plug into the calculator.
Now, Zed does have a good suggestion, quite sure it'd be cheaper than the arm and shipping but I'd still be happy to build you one!

Find a custom, fab, cool (TV show style) shop to help you out.
Dime City, Legends, Ace. Even ask The Harley Guys! Business is money.
Go with the GS 1100, Or GSXR your cheapest alternatives. I have a picture with dimensions in inches of a GS 1100 Suzuki swinger here.
Give you the basic idea size.
Thank you for posting this image, it does answers most of my questions.

I'm doing a fork and swingarm swap on a 78 650B and i need somewhere to dump a bunch of handy information... and this thread is it!
Swingarm and fork data www.sellifighter.de/technik/masse/masse.htm backup attached.
Various swing arm pivot widths kzrider.com/forum/5-chassis/583801-swingarm-swap#607847
General info on past swaps kzrider.com/forum/5-chassis/598509-all-in-one#676023
why zx9r 1997 front forks are the best www.kzrider.com/forum/5-chassis/562261-z...forks?start=0#562322
zx6/7/9 wheels www.kawiforums.com/threads/zx6-wheels-on-a-zx9.186468/ and www.zxforums.com/threads/front-wheel-compatibility.49768/ backup attached
various ZX parts compatibility www.stuntlife.com/forums/2-stunt-discuss...wap-list-1998-a.html
axle bolt diameters www.dotheton.com/index.php?threads/axle-...ter-size-list.20952/ backup attached
Im using ZR7 wheels for a matching set of front and rear wheels with a zx9r front end and a zx600 rear end. the regular zx7 wheels have that slight angle to them and the rears are too big for my taste (5.5", 180+ rear)
