Here in the UK we use the word polite as replacement for police.
Kawasaki Polite 1000 would read nicely?

I like it, but I'd put the Kawasaki K in the middle. Or put "heat", "fuzz", "cop".....
How about just "Kawasaki KZ1000P" could even put the version number at the end.
You can get custom printed decals you know?

It's not my bike, and cannot ask my buddy as he passed away this past April.
Other friends may know, and I will ask.
Looks like an LTD seat.

I'm going to do a proper write-up of this at some point, but here's the quick version.
This process requires an inkjet printer, and the materials will cost about $40.
- Go to Staples (or wherever) and buy these: Avery® 8665 Clear Inkjet Full Sheet Shipping Labels, 8-1/2" X 11", 25/Box
- While you're there, buy these: Avery Self-Adhesive Laminating Sheets, 3mil, Letter Size, 50/Pack, (73601)
- Print the desired image on to a sheet of the shipping label stuff.
- Before you do any cutting, laminate the label sheet with the laminating sheet. Be sure to press the two sheets firmly together.
- Cut out your new custom decal and stick it on your bike. Beware of curves (heh) - these decals like a flat surface.
I made a set for my bike using these materials and this process and it worked beautifully. I got caught in several rain events the first day out and everything was fine: no peeling, etc. And they can be removed easily as well, leaving no residue behind.
I made the first set for a bike show just for grins, but after I do the tank swap I'll make a permanent set.
