model identification

ok guys i cant find any identifying marks on the neck to identify my bike all i haveing the title. how do i go about finding out which model i have i got lots of electrical problems and want a diagram to fix it. its a 1978 kz1000 but not sure on the style. oh yeah and how do i reduce the size of my photo so i can post it?

I use a free program called IrfanView to resize pics, it's the easiest to use that I have found.
Or you could e-mail it to the addres in my profile and I can resize and post it for you.
Whatever you do, limit the width to 550!

Depending on where you are from, your title should be the same as the frame VIN. This frame VIN will tell you what model you have and where it was assemble/made.

if its a 78 its a b-series ltd,look at rear footpeg brackets.

If it was a D, then it would be a Z1R, If it was a C, then it would be a Police model. The seventh digit is a 5, meaning it was assembled in Nebraska, if it was a 0, it was assembled in Japan. If you have a bike without these designations, then you either have a replacement frame or a hot bike.
