And yes, Morris made 16 inch rear mags, they came stock on the 1976 LTD 900s, & were much lighter than the Kawasaki rims, & you can identify Morris mags by the M with circle around it that's stamped on the rim by the valve stem

I'm going to give them a good clean and see if I can find any manufacturers marks, it appears neither Lester or Morris were as bold in marking their products as Kawasaki.

Hats off to Kawasaki, whatever they painted the black on those wheels with is one tough paint. I finally got my new front and rear wheels polished and cleaned over the weekend. I can't believe that neither needed any repainting once I got the crud off, the alloy polished very nicely. I took the wheels to get the tires mounted and balanced today. I fitted my drilled twin rotors to the front, they look really nice after some buffing with scothbrite. So on Wednesday I'm hoping to get the front end done, replace the fork seals and fit the new wheel and all the brake parts for the twin rotors. hopefully soon after the rear can go on I managed to find a 20mm drill bit so I can open up the whole in the revised caliper mount to fit the KZ1000 axle. So far I think the black with polished accents is really going to work well, can't wait to see the 18" rear. Once the new wheels and tires are on and working the Lesters can go on ebay.
