Nope, $600 USD not GBP! That was the initial price, but I've heard they have gone up in price. I did contact them a day or two ago to inquire about the $100 price listed on their website (every swingarm and exhaust system they sell is listed at $100, so I think it is indeed a deposit). I'll let you know when I hear back from them!
Edit... Sorry I misunderstood... Cal-Fabs are [were?] $600. The Metmachex are £600... with £200 in shipping?!? That's like $1200 shipped!!!

I paid £275 secondhand a few years ago... I just needed it. They are light as a feather, when it arrived I couldn't believe the weight of the box.
They are about an inch shorter than stock, I needed to take a link or two out of the chain. Deep braced is cool but a hassle to fit for an endless chain.

Zedone wrote: mtb, this is EPIC NEWS!!! Thanks very much for posting this. I really love the extruded aluminum Calfab used and it looks like the new company is using the same stuff. I searched until the end of the internet looking for this material and then realized it must of been a custom batch order from a aluminum manufacturer. I hope the new company keeps high quality control and decent delivery schedules.
Thanks again!
Doug :woohoo:
This guy builds high end vintage race bikes. The quality is there. I bought one of his Yosh style pipes.

CRAP! prices have gone up. If memory serves me right, I only paid 5-600 including shipping. Granted that was 15 years ago
Obligatory picture, else it didn't happen, right?
