I was wondering if I got another swing arm that is a monoshock can I have some one weld mounts for duel shocks ? It will be going on a 78 KZ1000.
78 KZ1000 work in progress in Hacienda Heights California and a 82 KZ1100 Spectra And a 1992 ZX11.

Don't know yet been looking on ebay seen some preaty cheep like the YZR or the older ZX9 or ZX11 but looking for all suggestions

lots of stuff that will work, just look on ebay
zx arm
another one
fzr arm
gsx arm
.......the list goes on, pick one that you like, parts are easy to modify to fit

I took a mono-shock swingarm for a 86-88 Gsxr1100 and had some mounts welded on and the arm almost slid right in. I had to do some grinding on the back of the brake pedal mount but that was the only frame alteration. With the right rim/ sprocket carrier/ sprocket combo you should be able to run up to a 180mm tire. And if you want you can swap back to the original setup without anyone knowing.

have a 190 on the zx7 rim, its going to need a 3/8 offset front sprocket to get the chain to line up, not a big deal.
