I'd like to put braided stainless brake hoses on my 78 KZ1000A2A. I may need custom lengths with some changes I'm making. Where's a place to get them that sells custom lengths or premade lengths?

Spiegler does a good job too. They also have a lot of options (color, materials, hose end details).

I think 650ed posted this place on KZR before, but I don't recall if he got his stuff there.
CycleBrakes.com

I got Goodridge lines & fittings from Z1Enterprises.com. If you happen to make a mistake or if you need to make a change down the road for whatever reason, a replacement fitting or line might be easier/cheaper to deal with, whereas with the custom fit stuff w the crimped-on fittings, if you goof or make changes, you're probably stuck with it or otherwise have to order an all new line?

Hi:

I worked with an auto parts supply house in Canada called Rennsport for custom stainless steel braided hoses for one of my bikes. Even though I was located in the USA, the prices delivered, were reasonable. Around $25 per hose assembly.

The name of the person that I worked with was Raymond Chan. Very good to work with.

Cheaper at AN Plumbing... www.anplumbing.com/

Just ordered 8 hosends, a couple spare ferrules, and 6' of hose for $84 + tax. Fairly easy to build and customize. Been making these lines since 1984.

Apex Brakes. Ebay. The guy is from Canada and makes any lengths and configurations. Nice quality and super cheap. I've got his stuff on several of my bikes. (ApexBrakes.com) I'm not sure that Apex Brakes sells retail. You may have to locate the retailer on Ebay. Usually I pay about $65 for a set of three brake lines. One upper and two lower. He throws in the banjos and crush washers for free.....
