Thats who I have done mine.
Or you can chuck a hub up in a large lathe.
You can only surface grind 1 side due to the aluminum carrier that is riveted on with a huge press from factory.
I never liked to take a stock disc off of the carrier, I would never be able to get it back on as tight.
I have sold a couple of discs on ebay I cleaned up last year.
Hear is a 76KZ900 That I finished and shipped to "KAZ" in California to export to Japan
But take my flat Harley 10" discs. My machine shop at work had a magnetic plate surface grinder, and it was simple to take a couple of thousands off both sides. I miss work, and the machine shop and parts room.
Livin in "CheektaVegas, NY
Went thru 25 of these in 40 yrs.
I SOLD OUT! THE KAW BARN IS EMPTY.
More room for The Old Girl, Harley 75 FLH Electra Glide,
Old faithful! Points ign. Bendix Orig. carb.
Starts everytime!
