Replacement shock options was created by 83KZ750LTD
This winter, I plan on going through the bike to replace bearings, shorter control cables, and shocks. I'm pretty sure I know what I'll need for the bearings and cables. However, I'm not so sure about the rear shocks. I'm interested in finding out some opinions for replacement shocks.

I've found these: Dime City Cycles

These too: z1enterprises

Anyone else have any other suggestions?

Just found Hagon shocks as well but they look more expensive. I guess my question at this point is if the Dime City shocks are worth a damn...

They look like the ones I got from JC Whitney a long time ago. Way too stiff, very harsh ride. I currently run the gas progressives and they are WAYYY better. Make sure to get the correct springs for your bike, they come in an assortment of stiffness ranges. I don't think you'll find better prices than Z1 and they are knowledgable about fitting.

Hagons are more expensive, but they do work very well. I've had them on my bike for 6+ years and they still look and work great. The pic below shows mine on my bike, but Hagon makes a bunch of different styles. Ed

You could always get some ZRX1100/1200 take offs reasonable off Ebay and the ZRXOA. They are rebuildable, modable, and adjustable.

I like Works Performance Shocks. If you desire performance over stock looks that is. BTW, they do make them in chrome.

As long as you purchased the correct spring rate for your Progressives you will love them. Huge improvement over stock. Ran them many years on my GS1100E.

I bought what progressive recommends on there site. I'm confident in my purchase, I read so many positive reviews and testimonies that said exactly what you did.
