I think the 4052 looks the same, its for a single disc bike. Thats the one they list for the 650B1 as well. I just put 4076's on the 650.

Thanks T_Dub! They really look good on there! It makes more of a difference than I thought it would....looks way more modern. Are the centers painted silver? Does it look like it would be difficult to remove the outer disc from the center for painting/polishing/powdercoating?

Well, I took the plunge and ordered new EBC rotors for the front of my '78 1000 A. They are stock replacements so they're set up to work with the stock calipers.

My question is, Does anybody know of a caliper / adapter combination that works with stock rotors? I'd love to upgrade the calipers but I've seen very few adapters out there.

I have all (3) new EBC rotors now. I'd like to paint the centers either black or gold. Has anybody ever taken apart one of these rotors? I don't see any way to get them apart. The floating hardware might be permanent, kind of like a rivet. I can mask if I have to but disassembly would be the best for sure.

Wow, I'm late to this show! I'll never run EBC rotors again. Hope you have better results than I did.

What happened with yours?

They check perfect every time I checked the but as soon as you put any heat in them they would shudder real bad. They were scary in twisty roads where you were on them a lot. Dead cold they were fine. Don't know if it was 1 or both doing it.
