Square up rear wheel and run a straightedge across rear sprocket to an existing stock front sprocket and measure the space between the 2.
Theres only so many offsets available so you need to pick the closest and build around it B)

Thats excatly how i did it. And i got right at a inch to the outside edge of the front sprocket. Then just subtracted the width of the sprocket. The wheel is off center some but it looks good where its at.

Id center the wheel up first then then use the straightedge on the sprocket to figure out the rest,If you need to offset your wheel to make the chain fit Id look for a smaller wheel myself anyway

I know of a certain stock looking red 78 kz1000 in Omaha ne with a chrome kerker running a skinny ass 110-18 rear tire connected to a lock up clutch/36 flat slides and a plain label bigblock with a 1385 and a really good cylinder head that has no problem putting the hurts on anything stupid enough to want to play with it! :woohoo:

When you get a chance can you measure the height inside your lock up cover versus stock cover?
Thanks! B)

WHY?

I mean even if it is just a show bike that you will never ride it's supposed to be functional...

Don't you think?

MOTORCYCLES ARE DANGEROUSLY FUN!!!

A good track rider uses superior skill, to seek situations that define their judgment...
