Thanks Mcdriod, I got the Gator Grip idea from one of your postings here on KZR. It was a life saver. So, I'm taking the opportunity to thank you for your post.

Thanks everyone for the feed back and ideas. I took the forks down to a local shop and all it took as tightening the alan bolt on the bottom of the fork with an impact gun. All good so far.
